Past Rumors (10/10/2000):

seems as if alonzo mourning could be in some serious trouble. his kidney condition is not getting any better and he May have a rare kidney disorder that MAY require a transplant. news is sketchy @ best from the heat camp, and coach riley ain't helping out much either. all he would say is that they looked into a medical exemption from the league, but the idea was turned down and they plan to go ahead with Zo on the team, for now. i hope 'zo gets better soon. he's not one of my favourite players, but he comes to play every day and has one of the most conditioned bodies in the NBA. also, it was looking like the heat could come out of the east and possibly beat the lakers in the finals.

after post-season surgery, the timberwolves brass has said that they won't hurry along wally szczerbiak. too bad. wally is one of the most under-rated players in the NBA today. he gets no exposure in minnesota (playing on a team with KG and, hell, it's minnesota) so not many people know about him. i do, and i'm naming a kid after him.

alvin gentry, former coach of the pistons, now coach of the clippers, has come out and said that lamar odom will be his star. WOAH!!! STOP THE PRESSES!! that's news to me. i thought it would be derek anders...wait, he left. then, it'd be maurice tayl...whoops, he said that he'd never be seen in a clippers uni again. hell, it was pretty much a toss up between odom and keith closs (who?? my point).
