here's a new one: it appears as if the bulls are expressing their DIS-interest in a player, which would be glen rice. the issued a press release that stated exactly that. this comes as news as they've been trying to land rice for the last couple weeks. well, that would be what the bulls would have you believe. the fact of the matter is that rice is exploring a deal with the lakers, knicks and the sonics (or if you listen to others, it's a 4 team 'mega deal' which would involve atlanta). long story short, rice won't be a bull in the fall.

with joe smith a free agent, it appears as if the lakers are extremely interested in him (along with every other power forward with any thing that resembles talent). they still hold their $2.5 million exception and it looks like joe will sign for that somewhere. la could be a fit.
