Rumors from the Ass

Past Rumors (09/02/2000):

it seems as if the knicks will still be able to deal patrick ewing. after 2 possible deals came up dead, the latest news has ewing going to portland for digruntled point man damon stoudamire. both teams would address their needs with this trade. however, i think that the knicks would win. they unload a HUGE salary and geta young point gaurd, something they desperately need. the blazers get a centre that they need, but he's condition will always be questionable because of his age. this would give the blazers 5 front court men of unquestionable skill (ewing, arvydas sabonis, dale davis, shawn kemp and rasheed wallace).

it appears as if dicky simpkins is a wanted man. so far, three teams have expressed an interest in the 'player': the lakers, knicks and wizards. strange. my question is: WHO REALLY GIVES A FUCK?!?!

one deal that i missed (and i do apologize deeply) is the dale davis deal. the indianapolis pacers delt the all-star to the blazers for jermaine o'neal and joe klien. i'm not sure what to make of this one as the blazers now have WAY too many people trying to play the 4 and 5 spots. they had bitchin' before in portland about playing time, but that'll be nothing to these guys. out of the 5 players, 3 have been all-stars for sure (i'm not positive about rasheed) and sabonis would've been the greatest centre of all time had he come when he was orginally drafted back in the 80's.
