sorry bout the delay in letters, i've been, uh, busy, yeah busy. anyway, let's get down to business.

it seems as if damon stoudamire is happy in portland, for now. he told reporters that as long as the blazers keep winning, he won't gripe about minutes. but, if things change, he'll speak up and a trade demand could be made. only time will tell....

according to some sources, isiah thomas has been in talks with his ol' bad boy teammate, dennis rodman. however, thomas flatley denies this. it would make no sense at all if they were to sign the worm as they already have dale davis (who was an all-star last year) at power forward and austin croshere who will play the 3 or 4 this year.

the pistons are close to trading lindsey hunter to atlanta for jimmy jackson. now, don't get me wrong, jackson is a great player, but since the pistons have already lost one ball-handler in ghill, why would they want to trade their point guard for a guy who can shoot, but not dribble?? unless they're looking into starting matteen cleeves right out of the gate. could be risky starting a rookie point.

about a week ago, there wree rumours in the new york media that patrick ewing made a trade demand. he flatley denied this saying that he'll play out his contract and then sign another deal (he didn't clarify what team he would sign with, tho). now, what i'm hearing today is that he'll be shipped to seattle for vin 'i'll challenge oliver miller in a pie eating contest because i'm just as fat as he is' baker. all i can say is, it's about damned time that seattle rids themselves of that parasite. jeez, chris dudley can make more free throws (for those of you who don't catch on, dudley is the worst free throw shooter in the history of the NBA and baker missed his first 39 free throws this season). in related news, it appears as if maurice taylor would sign with the sonics if ewing was traded there. one thing i'm wondering is where the seattle big-wigs are getting the money to hand out and where was it before. paying payton (approx 8mil/season), ewing (more than 15mil per) and mo taylor (about 5 mil) plus the rest of the team would be a costly venture. BAH! who cares?? they're just trying to keep up with the jonses'/the magic.
