here's the 'news' for today......

there are many players that are VERY interested in playing in sacramento. the list includes: rose, rider (you know my feelings on him), mercer and eddie jones. look for either rose or eddie to be packaged for corliss wiliamson, a player that sacramento was hoping to opt out of his contract.

The latest news on ghill has detroit's manager not willing to deal him in a sign and trade. if (no, wait, i mean when) he leaves motown, he may just end up in either new york, denver (what??) or san antonio.

pat riley in miami has told pj brown, clarence weatherspoon and jamal mashburn not to be offended if their names pop up in trade rumours. pj brown is being coveted by the lakers and the griz as he is a solid rebounder, a great defensive player as well as a team player. mashburn could go to philly in a threesome which would have rice going to miami and and toni kukoc going to the lakers. also, the three heat players have be rumoured to be packaged in a deal that would have miami landing a marquis player (like hill [nope] or duncan [nadda])
